Surfers Yoga
Every time you take to the ocean on your board, nothing else matters except you and the next wave. It’s a meditation in itself. Yoga, like surfing, is more than an exercise or a sport - it’s a way of life.
Yoga is one of the best activities you can do to enhance your surfing. Yoga keeps the muscles for surfing supple and strong and can help you prevent strain and injury, increase your strength and flexibility, improve your balance and sharpen your mental focus. Your lung capacity will greatly improve and you will be able to shorten your recovery rate between sets and surf better for longer. Yoga will bring you a greater awareness of your body’s movement and restrictions. It will also greatly improve your stability by developing your core strength enabling you to maximise your surfing.
